This is the final cast for my Thriller Opening.  There are a variety of reasons why I chose these actors/actress for my Thriller Opening.

Hollie Beattie playing the role of Mary


I have chosen Hollie Beattie for the role of Mary for a few reasons. I have seen Hollie's acting skills before and whatever role she is given she portrays it very well. In the beginning of my planning Hollie wasn't the first choice, but after comparing both of the actresses acting skills my final choice was Hollie.

Jake Seaman playing the role of Matthew


The casting of Jake's character was a last minute change. I had another actress, who was suppose to be the friend of Mary, but her schedule clashed with other logistics, which made her unavailable. So I thought about instead Mary finding her Friend, she would find her Boyfriend. I figured that if she found her Boyfriend then that would have more significant meaning.

Austen Nuttall playing the role of Harry


It was really tough finding an actor for this role. I have found some actors that found the fit but wasn't able to film and vice versa. I then asked Austen (another student from my Media Studies Class) to give me a sinister look, which was suitable enough to what I was looking for in my opening.
